About Esprit Art

Esprit — the French word for spirit, vitality, and creative energy — perfectly captures what painting means to me. Every piece I create begins with something that stirs my spirit, whether it’s a vibrant street scene on my travels, a quiet garden path in my own backyard, or a person whose story moves me.

I work primarily in acrylic on canvas, drawn to its versatility and the way it allows me to layer vivid, expressive colors. My subjects vary, but they all share one thing: each is painted in a moment of inspiration, with the hope that the feeling I had while creating it will live on in the finished piece.

I live in Michigan, but I love to travel whenever I can — especially to visit my two adult daughters. Whether I’m exploring faraway places or taking a simple walk close to home, I always find new sparks of inspiration that make their way into my work.

For me, Esprit Art is more than a collection of paintings. It’s a reflection of the joy I find in life, the beauty I see in the world around me, and the spirit of adventure that keeps me picking up my brushes day after day.

Creatively Yours,
